Lyrics
Well if you want to get to heaven I'll tell you what to do You gotta grease your feet in some mutton stew Slide outa that there devil's hand and ooze on over to the promised land Take it easy, but go greasy I was down in a holler just a sittin' on a log My finger on the trigger and my eye on a hog Pulled that trigger and the gun went zip Grabbed that hog with all of my grip Course I can't eat hog eyes, but I love chitlins I was down in the hen house on my knees When I thought I heard a chicken sneeze But it was only that rooster saying his prayers Just a thankin' the Lord for all those hens upstairs Roosters praying, hens a layin', little pullets just a plugging away the best that they know how. Now I'm just a city dude livin' outa town People round here call me Moonshine Brown I make the beer, I drink the slop Got nine orphans...hey, they keep callin' me Pop? Oh well, I'm patriotic, just raisin' soldiers and Red Cross nurses.

Well I laughed my trousers off to this Joe - just fantastic the whole thing - I can just picture you doing this on stage and bringing the house down. Great picking and amazing vocal better than Country Joe MacDonald. Loved it!

Truly entertaining. So well performed and I love the accent! The lyrics to this one is really funny and you add to that by the way you sing and phrase it. Fine guitarplaying also, good old folksy style. Love it!
