This is very interesting! A great piece of music in itself, but also the very unusual division of 5 to the bar. Interesting, that my ears started to search for "one" to begin with, but after a while I just gave up and let the music flow in its own hypnotizing way. Experimenting music you may call it, but it still is very nice and entertaining to listen to it. Well done!

I know nothing about baroque music but the adjective seems appropriate here. Other adjectives that spring to mind are cinematic, timeless, quin-tessential, and nice.
The word "baroque" comes from the Portuguese word barroco, meaning misshapen pearl. I don't know about the misshapen, but this is a pearl.
Good stuff, you certainly achieved your third goal. :)

It's very difficult to come up with something that is different, yet still satisfying to the Western ear and expectations. This track has accomplished that and much more besides. This track takes us to another time and place, fascinating work.

Genius at work here!
Music from the 10th dimension :D
I believe that you may have rediscovered the music of the ancient ones with this epiphany $Bill :)
kind of like a melodic celebration the 'shadow hands' represented in ancient cave paintings, and a sonic reaffirmation of the decimal system.

To the casual listener the tempo of this track is perplexing. To the trained ear it is finding the “ONE” on each measure for continuity. To the eccentric it is euphoria because of the atypical arrangement that draws you closer for examination and understanding. Your creative thought processes wanders deep into uncharted waters. Remarkable work Bill. Just remarkable! Great choice in song title too.

Now, I call THIS original. I can hear both, Eastern European and an Oriental influence in this. Very interesting piece. Enjoyed it!

Like Alex, I tried to count but decided to just relax and enjoy the piece. And like Spin, I'll await some of the SC heavy weight's to comment on the timing. I will say that I admire musicians such as yourself that perform such a wide breadth of musical genres and mastery. Bravo $Bill on creative and diverse, well done music! I'd say you are a rare 2$Bill! And cool notation in your photo section!

Hi Bill, I can´t say anything about the 5/5 time signature or the 5-tuples theory...! Complex theme and stuff, I better let the experts comment this track for a deeper rythm analysis! I just noticed a dark and serious atmosphere here, Rongorongo feels like a dramatic track to me. Well placed into the classic/contemporary genre, I would define it as such one as well.
As always, I simply admire your talent and versatility in engaging you with everything it has to do with music, I wish I could do the same.....
Cheers to the music Bill! :)

Yes, interesting and sounding very Mediterranean, like Carlo is mentioning.
Because you were talking about time signature, I'm counting all the time. At the start it was easy, till five, but in the second part it got more difficult/complicated. I think I could better just enjoy everything that's coming here, so I push the play button again.
A sober start, slowly building up, adding instruments, kind of meditation. From 1:28 on it's getting more complicated, but everything still sounds very natural with beautiful sounding instruments.
A kind of adventure in nature (forests and rocks). At 2:30 a new part is coming, getting sober again, soon getting more complicated. I get the feeling a spider is building a web around me until I can't move anymore. The spiders start dancing around me, in circles.
Maybe I've got too much fantasy. This one is something special and could be used in a movie or for a game. Special time signatures are really working.
Nice one, Bill!
