Definitely the most authentic sounding of the whole challenge - love the drifting dissonances and mad percussion - this is so out there I'm surprised I can still hear it in here.
Awesome work $, well crafted Nile-related fun! Now, got to play it again...

Very authentic, probably the most authentic sounding of all songs in the challenge. Are those real instruments? They sound incredible! Fantastic what you did here. A deep bow to your ability of capturing this challenge at the very heart. Impressive!

This one gave me an eerie feeling of walking through a tome in search of a treasure, moving cob webs aside and all, Great use of instruments of the period.

Really great way you worked that Hulusi into being an ancient Egyptian flue, and the percussion is very convincingly early tribal Egyptian :)

How in God name did you get all these FANTASTIC SOUNDS??? How many instruments can you play?? Hey, I am speechless, this is a real masterpiece: if I didn´t know better, I would say you are an egyptian ( do you? ;); )!!
Well done Bill, well done, the ancient Egypt sounds so real and vivid out of your track, not folklore, but ancient music.

Maybe this one is sounding the most ancient of the songs here in the Challenge. It really feels like people are making live music.
So pure and magic. And human.

The ancient flute playing here is superb...so authentic and rich tone. Nicely done. The bongos fit so well in this piece...actually perfect...Thoroughly enjoyed listening. A great piece befitting the evening's theme
You went to considerable effort to capture the authentic sounds of Ancient Egypt. The Flute is especially excellent as well as other instrumentation. An EXCELLENT song, Bill! - One of the very best for the CBC AE Song Challenge.
